We love Calypso music!
We spent the afternoon at Parliament library taking part in a Calypso workshop that was happening as part of Black History Month.
We learned about Afro-Caribbean music and how it originated in Trinidad and Tobago. We listened to all the different rhythms and cultural influences in the music. We even got to play a drum made from a coconut and sing-a-long to all of the fun songs.
