Summer camp came and went in a flash. Here's a small sampling of the many things we got up to.
Checking out the Humber River |
We found a crayfish |
And some chicory |
And clover |
Follow the Leader |
An old cannon |
Camping in the park with Ted |
Making our recycled blocks beautiful |
Hanging out in the block house |
Playing soccer |
Making new friends at MOCCA. Inside the museum, the kids were really into David Han's Margaret Learns to Drive from There to Here. |
A few things that didn't make it into the pictures: making recycled paper, visiting the rooftop garden at 401 Richmond, swimming in Trinity Bellwoods, trips to High Park and St. Lawrence Market, writing a song about the spider in the corner of the studio, jam sessions, endless games of 'A Cold Wind Blows', making mobiles and buttons and comic books and puppets, a game of Pin the Tail on the Monster, caring for the potato bugs in our insect habitats, sprouting alfalfa seeds, and our traditional afternoon visits to Toby's house for homemade popsicles.
Thanks to all our campers for making the summer so much fun! We hope you have a fantastic August, and we'll see you in the fall.
